North Queensland Racehorse Spelling

This facility has been specifically developed using practical knowledge gained from over 20 years working with and training horses within the equine industry.

Situated at Mutchilba on 130 acres just 30 kms West of Mareeba on The Atherton Tablelands, where the dry, warm climate is perfectly suited to horses.

We offer 24 hr supervised horse spelling in a safe, caring environment. Our aim is to return your horse refreshed, healthy and ready to continue his racing career.

Our fences are all Steel Post and Rail so, no wire injuries!

Each horse has his own individual paddock with shelter shed, automatic waterer and feed bin.

Our paddocks are approx 1/2 an acre each with improved, irrigated pasture.

Each horse is fed twice daily with a carefully balanced, feed mix manufactured locally and exclusively to our specifications. We also include our own Mineral and Vitamin suppliment to ensure each horse has all that it requires.

We grow our own hay here on the property. Lucerne, Rhodes Grass and a Pasture mix and all horses here are given hay add lib. Usually a mix of all three types.
